A piece of news that made my day

I was walking along CK tang with Haz when i saw yong jie, one of the youths i used to worked with.. he was with her girlfriend, the one whom he has been seeing for almost a year.. guess what did he tell me, he told me he managed to get first in class for the SA1 this year.. although he dropped from normal to academic, the fact that he actually tried his best and gotten such good grades, i'm very very HAPPY! the feeling is really beyond description.. would the word "elated" be able to describe? hmm i'm also not sure... haz could also see that i was very very happy cos she asked if he was one of my favourites when i was doing youth work, and frankly, he was one of them... The fact is that i am still very happy till today... =) he one of the youths that i knew him when he was a relatively okie behaved boy to one who creates trouble in school to now, he told me he wants to concentrate on his studies and will not let me down.. told me to "don worry" i hope so man.. really hope so..
this piece of news really made my day... i mean i didn't expect this at all.. i guess when you don't have much expectations and the slightest results show, it is easier for it to really make your day! i mean this is what i've always wished to see happening in doing youth work.. i guess this just brought out the whole feeling of wanting to be in youth work again.. hmmm just a thought to sleep on...
