IRRITATING & WEIRD Colleague

I am organising a camp in March holidays and this stupid colleague has to be so difficult.. i wan to faint already!

His email to my colleague:

Hi Fidah,

By the way, any chance that MUIS can waive the $4/- per head charge for the participants? Coz I strongly believe that the TCMC would not be too comfortable footing the fee for a Muslim only training camp.

My reply to him

Hi Edmund,

Let me clear up something that you seem to have misunderstood. MUIS is not charging the fees, it is the organisers which is T-Net Club and Mendaki
who decides. After much discussion, we find that $4 is the nominal fee that most of our members maybe able to afford for a camp. A camp whereby transportation(to and fro), food and accomodation is provided and they are only paying $4 for all this.
The TCMC can decide whether to subsides partially or fully for the members.

Please understand that the fee is not to earn money from them but in hope of them having a sense of commitment in coming for the camp. We have to educate the kids that not to take things for granted right?

Hi Cheryl,

Nice of you to remind us that T-Net Club and Mendaki are the organisers. T-Net Club, under People's Association Youth Movement definitely follows People's Association's core values and beliefs. remember R.O.P.E.S? Under 'O' it refers to 'Opportunities for All'. This X-IS workshop camp is exclusively for Muslims, irregardless of ethnic race. You are setting the precedent for all of us to organise activities and events with certain religious bodies in Singapore. Perhaps one day some of us might organise a Youth retreat with YMCA, SOCA or SBA (Singapore Buddhist Association) etc.

As such, since the camp is exclusively catered for Muslim teens from the T-Net Clubs. We will do our best to publicise and consolidate the responses for you. The TCMC will not subside them as it cannot be implicated with supporting such 'exclusive' activities and events as they operate under the PA GROs umbrella.

Know your playing field! I hope you understand, being in the T-Net Club some time now. Thank you.

What the Fish man! this project is done by me and my colleague with Mendaki. I really don't know what's he's thinking man.. Just last year, he sent me a weird email saying that i don't respect him cos i did not address him as Hi EDMUND, i only said hi in an email which i sent to him regarding a project. And he had the cheek to say that he doesn't know who am i talking to in the email so he did not response! gosh, he was the only addressee in the TO list and i cc it to my boss too.. Even my boss at that time cannot take it. She sent him an email reminding him that he is the only addressee in the email and i wasn't being rude or whatsoever cos i knew i was just passing info specifically to him only no other colleagues involved. He's WEIRD with a captial L

He was suppose to be my partner in work but thank god due to lack of manpower, he does not work with me. If not i think i would have cross swords with him many many times already.

Nearly vomitted blood just now, fidah too was totally irritated with the email also.. Ungrateful brat, its not easy trying to coordinate a camp ya know.
