Office going MAD....

Sighh.. think my dept has a lot of under currents going on right now.. not the previous, simple SA team i know of... previously, everyone's trying their best to help the clients... now there are some new additions who are trying to PROVE themselves.... seriously, think it spoils the whole team work... sighh.. so sad...

first of all let's start with a colleague who has been in the Dept for abt 2yrs now... bascially, him and me.. we cannot see eye to eye on matters.. more than often. we always have our arguements and disgreements... BUT we respect each other's work attitude and capabilities.. and of cos we remain professional abt it.. personally. thought we can talk crap when its not abt work lah.. can still chit chat etc... recently, he has been transferred to the other service centre and things started to change when he decided that he will not move on after all... (meaning, move out of the ORG) he's like behaving SUPER weird loh.. really super weird.. he's like on the rage of trying to gain power.. the thirst for power is too strong. he wants blood and till he gets it... he's not going to back down.. really terrible.... and i think he has too much free TIME on his hands... an example, a colleague had 5days of hospital leave and 4days MC from the hospital cos he was sick... this guy was new to the dept but not new to the org.. he has recently started work in our dept and still in the learning phase... just 2 weeks into our dept and he had this MC thingy... when you sick.. you would hope people would understand that it is really something that you don't want it to happen right? BUT this idiot.. actually had to cheek to tell my shi fu the below:

I tell you... he is mad.. he think he is the SRM in the dept... people here at the woodlands service centre can see Johb's condition... he is having fever on and off.. plus he feels hot and cold at the same time.. 2 of his hands, one palm can be warm, the other cold.. my god, were you here to feel it or see it?

Honestly, i feel that professionalism in this was a matter of perspective.. i really feel that it was not up to my shi fu to talk to john at all.. if anyone it should be, it should be the team leaders or the SRMs.. not you darren... how can you tell her to do such a thing? now you are not able to see things from other's perspective... i mean, do you really know wat it happening? this poor john had to go for his third blood test (3rd week into his illness) to get confirmed that his prolonged fever etc was the fact that he contracted Dengue Fever.. if you keep assuming that he is sick as he cannot take the SA work, or SA stress.. then you are totally WRONG.. you are getting a bit too much.. and you are crossing the line.. PLUS you wan ros to step across the line just becos you tell her to? please loh.. can you be more reasonable.. you have made her so upset.. and at the same time disappointed... can you please do some form of reflecting?? i had to throw a temper at you to tell you that, hey! please WAKE UP.. john is slowly recovering.. and he needs time.. cos he is really sick.. this health matter that you have been harping abt is cos he contracted DENGUE FEVER... something that cannot be cured with medicine...can only try to increase your body's fight with antibodics.... that's it.. no one can do much... you jumped the facts.. assumed things... and you do know that to assume is the ASS between you and me.. so right now.. it has become the ASS between you and many people in the office... and you expect ros to show john this msn messages.. can you please try to understand that.... you are trying too HARD.. your perspective of looking future for the team is good.. but please do it humanistically.. you are not looking into staff welfare although you keep stressing that you are pushing for staff welfare... you have become someone to looks only the management way of looking at thing.. become territorial, thirst of power, trying too hard to prove yourself... do you actually realise that you have changed so much that i don't see the darren that i used to see a year ago?? i used to be able to discuss work with you.. BUT now... i really have to say.. please think before you say anything.. find out more before listening and believing into the hearsays in the office.. you have to SEE for yourself... as what i told you.. your sms and msn messages has given many people headaches... i really hope that you believe what i said abt john..

YP and WAN.. wah piang.. these 2 oldies in the office are driving everyone NUTS...
YP has been weird weird since the first day she joined the office.. and i can say.. she is becoming worse! First of all, she don't respect our EAs.. saying that we are higher rank than them.. hence they have to listen to her.. she only wants to ask the more senior staff work.. don't want to speak to the newer staff... she even asked me once. are you some sort of leader in the office as well? she is all about pulling ranks.... my god... apple polisher also.. wah cosz... she is rude and obxious... and SUPER LOUD.. i mean.. i thought i am loud, she is WORSE... she also don't treat the client's nicely.. she always place her expectations and limits on them.. a lot of times... client comes out looking really bewildered.. like they didn't understand what happened in the interview with her... so poor thing.. and she will shout back at the clients if they shout... wah piang... want to faint lah.. where is the customer service you have been saying that you have? next she is rude to fellow colleagues also.. and a lot things.. she just simply don't understand.. i have explained somethings to her repeatedly.. i really wonder it all started with me.. like its my fault.. maybe i didn't cover this with her.. didn't emphasize this to her.. did'nt touch on this work process with her... i mean... i think have a part in whatever is happening now.. although the colleagues have told me repeatedly that its not my fault.. i have done nothing wrong... they have witnessed many times that i have tried to teach her things.. she will say yes yes she understands.. and she just do the exact opposite... did i cover too fast with her? was i too difficult as a mentor? this is my 2nd mentee.. and honestly, i think i don't have luck in teaching others.. really no luck... 2nd one is so bad.. i cannot imagine what will happen if i take another one... wah piangz... i would like to try actually... BUT... think not better now... there are just too many things going on... an additional SRM who will not cover the backs of staff.. the other SRM is too busy to even talk to us...
OH man.. such much happening and its just my department.. the other departments are also just as bad.. oh my god.. when will all this end?
