To Buy or not to BUY

man oh man.. guess what happened today? my samsung E700C went deqqd on me.. the LCD screen gave away AGAIN... its the 2nd time this yr.. and there is no more warranty... even worse.. it'll cost $180-$230 to repair... which many of my friends commented that better to get new phone...

hence before i came home, i went round causeway point to look for prices and models of the phones.. and of cos to get myself the data cable for the hp.. cos all my data was inside.... photos that are timeless even though their resolution is not very fantastic...

finally i've downsized to 2 of my favourites.. samsung E730 and sony ericsson K750i... both look very tempting.. they have similar features but the pricing is different and their user opinions are also very different... the main issue i saw for the samsung phone was the battery life... apparently the initial part is very very bad.. cos it takes time to warm up.. and have to charge 14hrs for 3 days to maximise the battery life.. so that it can quickly optimise its battery life... man... 14hrs a bit long... and the MP3 loading seems to be diff... cannot load midi as ringing tones also... the sony ericsson one has all of what i want.. and less glitches than the samsung one.. just that it tends to hang more often and doesn't look as nice as the samsung one... how shld i put it.. the sony ericsson one looks more guyish and the samsung one looks more lady... more sleek looking...

how to choose?? should i choose the looks and feel of it.. or shld i choose functions over looks.. but with the looks that i dun really fancy?
